My husband is terminal and he is only 49. After years of heavy drinking he is very sick. This IS the end result of alcohol addiction if they don't stop.

Number one...YOU cannot keep him from going back to it or away from it. My husband is a recovering addict and I spent YEARS trying to keep him from doing drugs. It will never work. HE has to make the choice not to use. And depending on how addicted he is, you may be in for a long road. If you have any questions or Just need someone to talk to, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will keep you in my prayers.

after being in a relationship with my boyfriend for a little over a year, he started shooting up k4's. I was completley shocked he would ever do that to himself so I talked to him about it and he says it was only because he was so depressed since we weren't together anymore. Of course I got back with him instantly but now I'm afraid the situation is worse than i thought.. can he really just walk away from it after doing it 5 or 6 times. I'm not even sure how many times he has done it but i do know he has spent at least $300 on the drug and I'm not sure how expensice the pills and the needles are but it seems like alot. I'm just so worried about him and I dont know how to help keep him from going back to it.
