  • Find a group. 3-5 writers, and meet 1-2/month, online or in a home. Share copy of your last efforts, and give them time to review it. in the next meeting, have each member tell what they liked about your offering. Then have each share what they thought you could improve. That is the hard part, cuz it hurts, but then you go back and take what advice you think fits, and you do it again. I have seen a lot of improvement in my stuff thanks to the critique group. Good luck, Rick

  • I have been wanting to write a book. I am not sure about what though. I was a personal trainer 2 years ago and after I got married I became "Home Manager" aka Housewife or Homemaker. Anyways, I used to own a personal training business and I am now thinking of becoming: 1) A writer; 2) Photographer; 3)Painter(art not houses). I am also thinking of going to school and take classes. So, about writing, anyone have any advice on where to begin? I know I have to pick a topic, then what?

  • I'm trying to maintain three different blogs, work full-time, mother two teenagers and finish my novel. Am I nuts, or are all writers this crazy?

  • hey loves! i too am new to this site and am still trying to figure this shit out. i am also new to writing. i wrote my first play last year and basically have been trying to keep writing ever since. i really don't want to be a one-script-wonder. it's nice to know that there is a network out here in the web world in which writers can well just bloody write. i am currently working on another script/screenplay and have no idea what in the hell i'm doing, but i'm doing it. for now my goal is to get my 1st draft finished and let an editor worry about the rest. whoever that is going to be! ta ta loves!
