The purpose of the Advisory Board is to get valuable feedback from educators in order to provide teachers and students with hands-on, relevant technological tools that they can use. We need your perspectives regarding your specific needs as classroom educators, as well as what works well and suggestions for improvement.

Thanks for the suggestion regarding offline support. Maybe we can add a IM widget feature for real-time support/feedback rather than email or phone support. Thanks! QUESTION OF THE WEEK: PNN is working on a "pen pals" feature, where educators and students from all over the world can connect to begin correspondence or work together on a project. Please take a moment or two and provide your feedback on this upcoming feature. What are your wows and wonders? How might you use this feature to support teaching and learning? You can view this feature on the Advisory Board page: intheclassroom.pnn.com/3320-advisory Thanks! -
Online Instant Message support for tech challenged ones such as myself could be useful. -
I think one of the ways to help folks with tech challenges is off online support where you can IM and get immediate help. Just a suggestion. -
know I haven't been very active in promoting this group lately due to my other responsibilities of coaching teachers across four school sites. Thanks for subscribing - my goal is to be more consistent, and I really appreciate your feedback. Question: PNN currently is developing a user-friendly platform for connecting educators and students so that teachers and classes can collaborate in school/class projects or organize pen pal correspondence to learn more about different schools and cultures. What features would you like to see incorporated into this? As educators, what do you think would be "user-friendly" as well as practical - meaning you would actually want to use such a tool as this in your own classrooms? Thanks. :) -
Question of the Week: (starting in January 2008) What is one real limitation you have had in your experiences with utilizing online technology (PNN or otherwise)? How might PNN help address this limitation to further support you?
